Elemental & Trade Cost Planning
Nerana Estimating can produce fully rated elemental trade based BoQ's to suit any layout. Within the pricing we can set additional coding so that you can breakdown your cost plan into buildings, areas, levels or anything else you require.
Full Tendering Service
A full tender service is available from your office or ours. We can complete an entire tender including all trade measure/pricing and sub-contractor analysis, preliminaries and staffing suggestions, programme benchmarking, methodology advice and tender win strategies.
Trade Measurement for Subcontractors
We can produce individual specific measures for all construction trades including civil with 3D visualisation, we also have access to external resource for detailed services measurement.
For General Construction Estimating we use Cubit Estimating Pro + BIM, Cubit Select all from Buildsoft and have access to Global Estimating for seamless integration from the old technology to the new.
For Civil Estimating we use AGTEK Gradework, Materials and Underground to accurately takeoff and estimate earthworks quantities.
Cost Planning to Estimating
Packages can be tailored to cover all your estimating needs, from cost planning at initial concept stage through to a full estimating service. We also have access to specialist individuals whether it be tender writing, methodology writing and programming and can offer a full bid management package if required.
Luke has 22 years’ experience in estimating and tendering in Australia working in several different states and 2 years in the UK. This knowledge has given him a varied range of skills which covered all sectors in the construction industry including commercial offices, senior living, housing, education, multi-level apartments, institutional, health, Defence and small to large retail centres.
Working for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies Luke understands the various necessities at each level of construction which give a greater understanding for the requirements of each project. In this time he has been responsible through either tendering or cost management modelling for collaborative delivery for securing projects. This experience allied with his professional development provides Luke with an excellent appreciation of building techniques and methodologies allowing him to critique documentation to achieve the best result.
Luke has a keen interest in being conversant with the latest Estimating software and techniques to be able to efficiently complete work in the most accurate and time effective manner possible. This is particularly important as the market moves to a more collaborative delivery style where the estimators are more involved in the scoping and vetting of trade packages within projects where it is possible to track the measured quantities from the initial stages of concept design through design development, construction documentation and to what is then constructed on site.
